Casey City Council (Council) gives notice under Section 115(4) of the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act) of its proposed intention to enter into a lease with Berwick Café & Co Unit Trust ACN 61 797 087 538, of part of the property known as Crown Allotment 9 Section 4 Parish Berwick (Volume 11717/Folio 089) and located at 34A Homestead Road, Berwick VIC 3806, known as the Old Cheese Factory (the Proposal). The subject property is shown outlined on the plan below.

The principal terms of the proposed lease are:
- Term of lease: 5 years
- One further term of 5 years
- Rental Amount: $15,000 + GST per annum in the first year, $30,000 + GST per annum thereafter
- Permitted Use: Operation of a café
