We’re seeking community feedback on our Casey events schedule to determine if the community is satisfied with the current Council-run community events and if further changes or additions are required.

Community feedback will help us to understand the types of events the community enjoy and would like to see more of. We’re also looking to gain a further understanding of the barriers that may prevent the community from attending Council run events.

Between 19 February to 22 March 2024, we asked our community to provide feedback on Council-run events via an online survey, fund-it tool, and forum.

We heard from over 146 participants, including 36 online survey submissions, 66 online fund-it contributions, 38 forum submissions, 2 questions asked online via the Q&A forum and 2 emails. We’ve summarised feedback below, or you can read the complete report.

Following community engagement, Council officers will look to expand the Casey events schedule to include new types of events that are popular amongst the community.

Council officers will also undertake a review of the current events to ensure they meet community expectations.

We will consider community feedback and expand the Casey events schedule to reflect the needs and aspirations of our community.
