Project objective
We’re seeking community feedback on our Casey events schedule to determine if the community is satisfied with the current Council-run community events and if further changes or additions are required. Community feedback will help us to understand the types of events the community enjoy and would like to see more of. We’re also looking to gain a further understanding of the barriers that may prevent the community from attending Council run events.
Project impacts
Community feedback will help to inform Council’s community event schedule.
The objectives are to:
- Understand the community sentiment and preferences for Council-run events.
The achievement of the objectives will:
- Increase participation in Council’s community events
- improve local connectedness for Casey residents (e.g. increasing social and community connections).
What information do we need from the community?
We’re seeking feedback to understand if our current Council-run events appeal to and reflect our community’s needs and aspirations. We also want to know if the community would like any new events added to our schedule.
What can the community influence?
- The types of community events Council run
- modification to any current Council-run events
- suggestions for new events.
What can’t the community influence?
- Budget allocation for Council events
- removal of events.
