The Casey Cardinia Homelessness Network has been developed in recognition of the need for agencies and council staff to have the opportunity to come together to partner and discuss the homelessness crisis in the Region.

With the forecast growth in the City of Casey and Cardinia Shire – particularly of older people, people living with disabilities and people from asylum seeker or CALD backgrounds - it has been identified that there is now a greater need for action.

Action is needed specifically in relation to community disadvantage more broadly but also in relation to housing affordability – inclusive of greater housing diversity, community housing, subsidised housing and social housing.

This platform has been created to provide an opportunity to collaborate all ideas . This will enable current and new members to be kept informed and the information to be utilised for any reporting purposes.
