The City of Casey’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2021-2025 provides direction on the priority health and wellbeing focus areas for Council and public health sector organisations in the municipality, to improve the health and wellbeing of all Casey residents.
The development and implementation of the Alcohol Harm Prevention Action Plan and Gambling Harm Minimisation Policy are key actions of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy Annual Action Plan.
The City of Casey is committed to reducing harm from alcohol and received funding from VicHealth in 2023 to develop an Alcohol Harm Prevention Action Plan.
Where does this survey fit into the process?
In order to find with the most effective actions to reduce harm from alcohol, we asked local residents and businesses to share their local knowledge about alcohol related harm in the City of Casey.
Information gathered during our consultation is helping inform the development of the Alcohol Harm Prevention Action Plan.
