Building a Better Casey

The City of Casey is Victoria’s largest municipality and continues to grow every single day. With more than 430,000 residents right now, our population is set to exceed 610,000 by 2046.

This growth brings enormous opportunity. It’s a chance for all levels of government to partner with us and help unlock the economic, social and urban potential of one of Australia’s fastest growing regions.

Our community consistently tell us that transport is their number one priority – with a need for better roads, better public transport and upgrades across the whole network. Residents also want more local jobs, accessible health services and high-quality community infrastructure.

Building a Better Casey is about highlighting the priority projects and initiatives that are essential to support our rapidly growing population, providing a clear, evidence-based framework to guide government partnership and investment. Let's plan for growth together and ensure Casey is supported by the infrastructure and services that benefit residents, businesses, and the broader Victorian economy.

Council is excited to work closely with all levels of government, the private sector and our community to secure the policy commitments, funding and decisive action required to bring these vital projects to life and build a better Casey.
