Heritage at Casey Survey Information
The City of Casey's Heritage Framework was endorsed by Council in November 2023. The Framework outlines how Council is committed to protecting and integrating its heritage into the environment, and to conserving, enhancing and celebrating its history and heritage for the benefit of current and future generations. You can find out more on our website.
As part of the Frameworks commitments, a community bi-annual survey is to be undertaken to ensure the Framework continues to meet community expectations and is still fit for purpose.
The purpose of the survey is to monitor changes in community awareness and understanding of heritage and cultural heritage in the City of Casey. We appreciate any feedback you have and for your thoughts on this subject.
The survey closed on 31 July 2024 at 5:00pm.
The Heritage Community Reference Group
The Heritage Community Reference Group (HCRG) provides Council with strategic and sometimes expert advice from local community and research perspectives on matters related to:
- selected Council projects or projects with Council involvement that include a post-contact heritage component, and
- implementation and review of the City of Casey Heritage Framework
