Consultation was open from Sunday, 22 January 2023 and closed 16 April 2023.
The City of Casey aims to build a supportive community where people from across the LGBTIQA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Asexual) spectrum feel welcome, safe, accepted, celebrated and included. As one of the fastest growing councils in Victoria and the state’s largest municipality, Casey strives to foster an inclusive and accepting environment where everyone feels welcome to live, play, work, celebrate, connect while playing a vital role in the growth and expansion of our city.
We hope that members of the LGBTIQA+ community and their allies will share with us their experiences, thoughts and feelings on inclusion in our city.
Your input, insights and experiences collected through our public consultation and other complementary consultation activities has contributed to:
- Advocating for a safer, inclusive, and celebrated LGBTIQA+ community in Casey
- Development of the Rainbow Action Plan
Equity and inclusion is important to us
And we hope it is to you too.
This Rainbow Action Plan has been developed for those that live in, work, and visit the City of Casey and identify as a member of the LGBTIQA+ community or an ally.
