Feedback on the online hub

Hello and welcome to all of our valued Committee and Sub-committee members. Thank you for taking the time to sign up for Casey Conversations and join this group. The hope for this online space is that it will be easy for the Committee and Sub-committee members to discuss ideas, give us valuable feedback on council strategies and ideas and access important documents. The team will share information and ask questions for your feedback. Please keep your eyes peeled and check on the page regularly for updates. As you get comfortable with the page we will add new ways for you to interact and share ideas. We would love to hear from you on what you would like to see from this space. Here are some discussion questions to start you off. Please feel free to give us your thoughts by responding to this forum post. What sort of interaction would you like to have with the Sustainability and Environment team ?  Is the site easy to use? Anything you feel is missing? Thanks again for volunteering your time to benefit Casey's community and wildlife. The Sustainability and Environment team hopes that you and your families are doing well in this challenging time.

A wildlife shelter facility in Casey

A wildlife organisation has reached out to the City of Casey for support in establishing a wildlife breeding centre to support wildlife populations impacted by the recent bushfires. They expect the facility will operate for 2-3 years and require approximately 4 hectares of land. What are your thoughts on this idea? Do you have suggestions on a suitable location within Casey?

Feedback wanted - Draft Management plan for the Doveton Grey-headed Flying-fox colony

The City of Casey and City of Greater Dandenong recently commissioned a strategy on the management of the grey-headed flying fox colony in Doveton. The document was created in response to major heat stress events in the colony. We seek the feedback of the Committee on this document. Please access the document in the 'Document Library' section of this site. Once you have read through the document, post your feedback as a comment on this post. This document will be open for feedback until 26th of May.
