​Help Shape a New Dog Friendly Space in Cranbourne

As part of our commitment to creating inclusive and accessible recreational areas, we’re planning a dedicated dog park to meet the growing needs of local dog owners and residents.

The location for the dog park is Carlisle Park (2–20 Majestic Boulevard, Cranbourne). This site allows for a 0.5-hectare dog park area, meeting the Dog Friendly Spaces Policy recommendation. It offers flat topography suitable for development, complementary recreation elements such as a playground and sports grounds, adequate buffer distances from properties and streetscape, and off-street car parking.

We’re asking the community to share feedback on what features and elements you’d like to see included in the future design. Your input will directly influence the design and development of this space, which is proposed for delivery in the 2026/27 financial year, subject to budget approval.

    • The overall purpose and direction of the project is guided by the Dog Friendly Spaces Policy.
    • Final decisions will be made by Council, based on things like location, cost, feasibility, and strategic priorities.
