    We want to hear your thoughts about what features and spaces this new facility should include. Your feedback can help us to design and plan a facility that best suits the needs of your community. 

    What is a community hub facility?

    It is a multipurpose centre which caters for Council services, community groups, community service organisations and non-government organisations. The facility will include elements such as a kitchen, flexible multipurpose space, meeting and consultation rooms, and staff offices. These spaces provide our community with access to a variety of social, cultural, educational and recreational opportunities.

    What is the Growing Suburbs Fund?

    The Growing Suburbs Fund is a $200 million investment over four years in critical local infrastructure for communities in Melbourne's diverse and fast-growing outer suburbs. The City of Casey is one of ten local councils that can apply for funding which is provided by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.     What is the draft Capital Works Program?

    The draft Capital Works Program is the amount of funding the City of Casey has allocated for 2018-19 to ensure the provision and development of high quality, accessible facilities and assets to meet the documented need of Council, user groups and the broader community. The program is subject to ongoing review and will be considered for adoption at a Special Council Meeting at Bunjil Place on 26 June 2018.     What are the competition terms and conditions?

    1.  Excludes Council staff and Councillors.    

    2.  Competition closes Friday 1 June 2018 at 5.00pm. No late entries accepted.                 

    3.  The prize is one $100 Westfield Gift Card. 

    4.  The card can not be redeemed for cash.  

    5.  The winner will be randomly selected from all those who participate and provide feedback through the online survey.                              

    6.  The winner will be drawn on Wednesday 6 June 2018.                                                      

    7. The prize winner will be notified by email or phone via the information provided at the end of the survey.                        

    8.  Only one entry is permitted per person.
