We’re building a new dog park at Sweeney Reserve, Melzac Way, Berwick

Council is delivering a new off-leash dog park at Sweeney Reserve in Berwick, with $210,300 secured through the Council’s Capital Works Program and an additional $240,000 provided by the State Government’s Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA).

A draft concept design was on public exhibition and open for comment until 15 June 2025, informed by feedback received during the initial round of community consultation. This consultation is now closed.

Please note that due to site size constraints, only one dog park can be accommodated, which limits the ability to provide two separate areas.
