Environment protection legislation requires all municipalities that contain onsite wastewater systems to develop and implement a domestic wastewater management plan (DWMP).

The purpose of the DWMP is to:

• identify the risks to public and environmental health associated with the operation of onsite wastewater systems; and set out strategies to minimise these risks.

We are seeking feedback on the DWMP from owners/operators of onsite wastewater systems.

A copy of the draft domestic onsite wastewater management plan is available under the document library.
