What is the Edwin Flack Reserve Master Plan?

The Edwin Flack Reserve Master Plan will be a document that is produced to set the vision and strategic direction for future development of the reserve. It will recommend projects to address feedback from key reserve stakeholders and the community, responding to the needs of organised sport as well as broader recreational opportunities at the reserve.

Who will be involved in developing the Edwin Flack Reserve Master Plan?

To develop the Edwin Flack Reserve Master Plan City of Casey staff, as well as a contractor engaged to support the project, will work together with the tenant sporting clubs and users, residents, Berwick College and members of the community to identify issues, opportunities and recommendations for the reserve.

Project team members will also call upon expertise from local and State Sporting Associations, as well as a range of internal departments in preparing a draft Master Plan.

What is a Public Exhibition phase?

Prior to Council adopting documents like master plans, Council endorses a public exhibition phase to gather feedback from the Casey community and interested stakeholders. Feedback is then considered to make any changes to the document, and it is presented for consideration by Council in the decision making to adopt the document at a future Council Meeting.
