OPTION 1 - Ironbark Family & Community Centre

The Lineham family were the first owners of the proposed land for the Family and Community Centre in Clyde.“Ironbark” was the name of the property owned by the Lineham family. The Lineham family occupied the property for nearly 124 years before being sold in 1978.

OPTION 2 - Ironstone Family & Community Centre

Between 200 -1000 years ago, a meteorite shower rained down following the path between Pearcedale and Pakenham (travelling over Clyde). In 1862 the Cranbourne Meteorite #2 was discovered on a parcel of land in Clyde owned by the Lineham family. The proposed site for the Family and Community Centre is on part of the formerly owned Lineham family property.

OPTION 3 - Eliston Family & Community Centre

Existing name of the estate and road on which the Family and Community Centre is being built. The name Eliston is believed to have originated from the Scottish beginnings in Clyde.
