Council sought community feedback on the future of Hampton Park Central

The City of Casey invited the community to share their thoughts on the future of Hampton Park Central as part of the update to the Hampton Park Central Development Plan (2019). The update was undertaken to help guide the future growth and renewal of the area, with a focus on making the plan more flexible, realistic and supportive of vibrant, sustainable development that better reflected community needs.

Hampton Park Central is major activity centre providing shopping, services, jobs, housing and transport links.

Council outlined a vision for Hampton Park Central to grow into a welcoming, lively and people-focused place, featuring improved public spaces, a greater diversity of housing, enhanced urban design and a stronger sense of local identity.

Community feedback was sought to better understand local priorities and ensure the updated plan supported the development of a centre the entire community could be proud of.
