In 2021 we asked our community to tell us about the issues that were most important to them through our Living and Ageing Well survey.

The results showed us that residents consider safety, housing, transport, participation in social and civic life, and access to public services and information, as their most important concerns.

To support our older residents we are building on this work by developing an age friendly strategic action plan for the municipality. The Plan will help us respond to the needs of an ageing population and assist us on better supporting seniors and people living with a disability both now and into the future.

If you are aged 55 years or more, or provide care and services to someone who is, we want to hear from you.
