In 2023, we first engaged the community to seek feedback on a suggested location for a dog-friendly space within Banjo Paterson Reserve and asked what you would like to see included in a dog friendly space.

89% of the communities feedback requested fencing, water/waste stations and seating opportunities be available in the future plan for the space.

Since then, we have listened, confirmed an alternative location and designed a space to the communities feedback.
