Casey City Council (Council) gives notice under section 190 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) of its intention to enter into a lease with Optus Mobile Pty Limited for part of the Premises known as Casey Fields, located at 1B/369 Casey Fields Boulevarde Cranbourne East VIC 3977 (the proposal). A plan of the premises is shown below:
The purpose of the lease will be for the construction, maintenance and operation of a telecommunications network and telecommunications service.
The principal terms of the lease will be:
Fixed Term: 20 years;
Commencement Date: to be confirmed
Commencement Rent: $20,000 per annum plus GST indexed annually by 3%
Any person may make a submission on the proposal under section 223 of the Act. The closing date for submission is 19 May 2021. All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act. Submissions, including the submitter’s first and last name, may be included in an agenda for a meeting of Council that will be made available to the public.

Any person requesting to be heard in support of his or her submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or a Committee established by Council for this purpose) or be represented by a person acting on his or her behalf and will be notified of the time and date of the meeting. A person must clearly state in their submission whether they, or their representatives, wish to speak at the meeting.
