Project Information

The City of Casey's Playground Strategy guides the provision and management of playground facilities to meet the present and future needs of Casey residents. This means that the location, scale and number of playgrounds changes every year. Our renewal program this year will have a focus on the established areas of the municipality. The current list of playgrounds to be renewed in 2023/24 includes:

  • McDowall Road Reserve (Hampton Park)
  • Hillgrove Crescent Reserve (Berwick)
  • Kidds Road Reserve (Doveton)
  • Bunya Court Reserve (Narre Warren)
  • Nestle Retreat Reserve (Berwick)
  • Baden Powell Reserve (Doveton)
  • Ashford Close Reserve (Hampton Park)
  • Kendall Drive Reserve (Narre Warren)
  • Wood Road Reserve (Narre Warren South)
  • Max Pawsey Reserve (Narre Warren)

The design and delivery of most playgrounds is typically funded through Council’s Capital Works Program and delivered within the financial year. This year we have an expanded program due to additional funding of $2,475,000 being provided by the Federal Government through the Investing in Our Communities Program.
