City of Casey draft Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan

Project Information

The City of Casey is developing the Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to wholeheartedly embrace the essence of Reconciliation. Our aim is to pave the way for an inclusive, harmonious, and equitable future. We are committed to nurturing deeper connections of respect and collaboration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community while promoting broader understanding and education within our entire community.

Through the development of this RAP, we aspire to build upon the remarkable achievements of the Aboriginal Gathering Place in Doveton and further align our organisation with the goals of Reconciliation. This is an exciting step in our journey of reconciliation as an organisation as it will create space for us all to reflect on where we are and where we need to go, ensuring that the foundational principle of self-determination is embedded in our work.

To ensure the draft Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2024/26 is reflective of Casey’s unique people and places, we’re seeking your feedback. The journey towards reconciliation starts with each and every one of us, so please add your voice to the conversation online via the feedback form below, or in person at the following locations:
