We invited you, the Casey community, to provide feedback to support the creation of Council’s next four-year Plan. This plan will guide our new incoming Councillors and the work of Council from 2024 and beyond.

We also asked if the Community Vision still represented a future you want to see in Casey.

The consultation was open from 27 May to Sunday 7 July and is now closed for feedback. You can view the snapshot of our engagement below. A full engagement summary report is available now in the document library.

The competition for one of five $500 Westfield vouchers was drawn on 12 July. The winners were notified by email.

Shape Your City 2024 also included the recruitment and selection of a representative panel of community members who considered and debated some of the council's more difficult decisions. Panel recruitment and selection—as well as the facilitation of the workshops—were conducted by an independent external organisation.

Next Steps

All the data received during the community consultation and Community Panel deliberatition, will be presented to our new Councillor group after October.

We will then draft Council's 2025-29 Council Plan, review our Community Vision, Asset Plan and Long Term Financial Plan before putting the documents on public exhibition for feedback in early 2025.
