Applications now open to partner with Casey in the Digital Equity Living Lab

24 November 2021

Are you part of an organisation or business that wants to make a difference for digitally excluded community members? The City of Casey has launched its first Living Lab to explore innovative ways to address Digital Equity challenges in Doveton. We’ve created 3 challenge statements which we would like you to help us solve:

  1. How might we enable all people in Doveton, particularly those who are digitally excluded, to access the internet so that they are empowered to get online regularly for a range of activities?
  2. How might we invest in and/or advocate for alternative means of accessing affordable internet and devices, in order to ensure the best value for digitally excluded communities?
  3. How might we empower and motivate digitally excluded people to build digital skills, increase confidence to get online, and to safely use the internet in an ongoing way that improves their lives?

The Digital Equity Living Lab will be hosted at the Autumn Place Community Hub in Doveton (29 Autumn Place). We are looking for partners across different areas including industry, research and public-sector to work with us and our community to co-design and co-create exciting and innovative solutions to solve the complex issues around Digital Equity.
