With the growing deployment of smart technology in spaces across Casey, there is an opportunity for the City of Casey to work with the development sector to co-fund the delivery of smart solutions in developments and precincts, including new estates.

Council is launching a pilot program to test a new approach of partnering with those who are involved with the ‘building’ of the City of Casey, by delivering Smart City activations in projects about to commence or that are currently underway.

Are you a developer, builder, or property group in the City of Casey with a shovel ready project, new development, or existing development that could incorporate a Smart City activation within the next six months? Then this opportunity may be for you! A co-contribution of a minimum 1:1 matched financial funding is a requirement of the program, as well as agreeing to share the data captured through the project with Council at no additional cost.

Applications are now being accepted via Smarty Grants and will be open until 31 January 2023, or until funds are exhausted. Full grant guidelines are available here.
