About the project

Council is planning improvements for Somerville Road Village (The Fairway) to help create a more welcoming place for the community.

The proposed concept design focuses on creating a more welcoming and enjoyable place by introducing new seating, higher‑quality landscaping, footpath artwork, and additional trees. These improvements aim to enhance comfort, increase use of the centre, and support a safer, more vibrant environment for the local community and businesses.

We want to hear from residents and traders who use the area. Your local knowledge and experiences will help shape parts of the design so the improvements reflect how the centre is used day to day.
