Thank you to community members that completed the survey around new recreation reserves and community facilities. The insights will assist Council in continued delivery of, functional, accessible, economic and sustainable facilities.

Below is a snapshot of key themes from respondents:

Recreation Reserves

• Scorers rooms are mostly utilised on game day
• Drainage is adequate at the new reserves
• Council is providing appropriate equipment within kitchens
• Flooring surface within changeroom facilities is generally appropriate
• All respondents agreed that delivery of cricket training nets are ‘hitting the mark’
• Respondents feel safe at their reserve
• There is insufficient spectator seating at the reserve
• There is generally sufficient lighting within the reserves
• Safety infrastructure, such as behind goal netting is appropriate for the reserve

Community Facilities

• The kitchen facilities provided include appropriate equipment for users
• The technology equipment provided is generally sufficient and user friendly
• There is sufficient storage space available within the community rooms
