About the project

We are starting to plan possible improvements at Spring Square, Hallam, and want to hear from the community before anything is decided.

We are looking for ideas about the shared spaces outside the shops, such as footpaths, walking connections, seating, landscaping and how people move around and spend time in the area. All ideas are welcome and nothing is locked in.

Your feedback will help guide future designs to make the area more welcoming, accessible and comfortable for everyone. Better shared spaces may also encourage people to stay longer and support local businesses.

Everyone is welcome to share their ideas.

Next steps

Feedback received during the consultation will be reviewed, concept plans will be designed for further community comment. After the consultation, final designs will be available prior to construction and works are planned to take place between December 2026 and March 2027.
