What is the Wilson Botanic Park Berwick Master Plan?

    The Wilson Botanic Park Master Plan is a document produced to set the vision and strategic direction for future development of the park. It will recommend projects that respond to the opportunities and challenges facing the park, incoporating feedback from park stakeholders and the wider community, the needs of individual park users visitors whilst capitalising on broader botanic garden opportunities at the park. 

    Why is Council developing a Master Plan for Wilson Botanic Park Berwick?

    Council is committed to providing high quality and economically sustainable facilities.  A master plan for Wilson Botanic Park Berwick is needed to guide future use and development of the park, while responding to current and future demands and community expectations.

    Who will be involved in developing the Wilson Botanic Park Master Plan?

    To develop the Wilson Botanic Park Berwick Master Plan, City of Casey staff, alongside specialist parks and recreation consultancy Xyst, will work together with members of the community, internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities and challenges facing the park to ensure that the park fulfils its true potential. 

    How is my survey used in the Master Plan Process?

    Feedback from this survey will be used to shape the draft master plan for Wilson Botanic Park Berwick which is expected to be completed later this year.  This draft master plan will then be put out to the community for feedback.
