A larger, new and upgraded play space

We asked the community for feedback to influence the concept design for Wood Road Reserve (Berwick) Playground. You told us that you preferred natural play spaces to share with your friends and family. Based on the feedback we received, a draft concept plan has been designed for the existing playground.

Draft Concept Design

A new upgraded playspace will be introduced. The design will incorporate existing trees, creating a little jungle exploring experience for kids
The basketball half-court will be upgraded to provide a good quality sport area, accommodating players of all ages and skill levels.
Fitness stations located along the path offer diverse exercise options that cater to different fitness levels and promote active lifestyles.
A new shelter, barbeque, picnic set, and drink fountain will be added, with more seating opportunities to improve visitor comfort and convenience, creating a more enjoyable and functional space for relaxation and social gatherings.
