Project objective
The proposed Cranbourne Hub was planned as a purpose-built facility, offering the local community a ‘one-stop shop’ to access important council and community services in one location.
We undertook community engagement in 2023 to seek feedback on the development of the proposed hub, and in 2024, we undertook co-design with community members, service partners, and other stakeholders to develop a concept design of the facility. In 2025, we sought community feedback on the proposed concept design, including how the community would access services within the Cranbourne Hub.
Project impacts
The objectives of the latest engagement were to:
- Understand community sentiment and preferences for the design of the proposed Cranbourne Hub.
The achievement of these objectives:
- Ensured the design of internal and external areas of the proposed hub facilities offered a positive experience for the whole community.
- Improved the accessibility of services and amenities for Cranbourne and surrounding residents (e.g. health, wellbeing, liveability services, and community connections).
