The City of Casey is seeking community feedback on the documents that will help shape our future.

More than 360,000 residents call Casey home, making it one of Australia’s largest Local Government Areas, and every voice counts.

The City of Casey Draft Budget 2020/21and Strategic Resource Plan 2020-24 and Draft Council Action Plan 2020/21 details the projects and resources needed over the coming financial year, outlines the services and projects that will be delivered across the next 12 months, and responds to the social and economic effects of COVID-19.

Draft Budget 2020/21 and Strategic Resource Plan 2020-24

This year's budget totals $536.6 million, which includes an operational budget of $405 million that will go towards delivering 66 key services to the Casey community, as well as a Capital Works Program valued at $131.6 million, which incorporates 266 important projects that will deliver much needed infrastructure for the Casey community.

Anyone can make a submission on the budget. A submission is a written statement that explains your views about a topic or proposal and how you may be affected if the Budget goes ahead.

How to make a submission:

  • Via a submission on this Casey Conversations page
  • A written submission addressed to the CEO and emailed to caseycc@casey.vic.gov.au, OR
  • Send via post, addressed to the CEO and mailed to PO Box 1000, Narre Warren, 3805.

    Any person who prepares a submission may also choose to speak to their submission in front of Council. Submitters may choose to be represented by a person acting on their behalf. 

    Submissions on the Draft Budget 2020/21 and Strategic Resource Plan 2020-24 will be heard at the Council Meeting on Tuesday 9 June 2020 commencing at 4:00 pm.

    The name and suburb of all submitters will be included in the agenda and minutes of the 9 June 2020 Council Meeting.
