The City of Casey is seeking support from both the Federal and State governments for the duplicated rail extension from Cranbourne to Clyde to connect the growing communities of Cranbourne East, Clyde North and Clyde.

The project will require new stations at Cranbourne, Cranbourne East, Casey Fields and Clyde. It will also include and expanded bus interchange at Cranbourne, and future train stabling in Clyde.

The project represents an opportunity to create a legacy for the southeast region and act as a catalyst for positive urban renewal that reinvigorates and connects communities.
