The City of Casey intends to apply for $100,000 via the Victorian Governments 2022 Community Cricket Program to upgrade the existing cricket training nets at K.M. Reedy Reserve and we invite you to provide you support.

The Project

The project responds to the identified facility challenge for Cricket in Victoria of condition of training facilities.

If successful in receiving funding from the Victorian Government, this project will deliver:

  • a new three-lane cricket training facility relocated to the south-west corner of the main oval with connecting pathway

Cost:

The total anticipated cost of the project is $275,000, with Council contributing $175,000 and if successful the Victorian Government contributing $100,000. If Council is not successful in receiving funding, the project delivery timing will be reassessed to when Council has the additional rate funding to deliver the project.

Timing:

If successful in receiving funding from the Victorian Government, it is expected these works will commence in late 2022 and be completed in early-2023.
