Help us to reimagine Ercildoune Court Reserve

UPDATE (November 2019): You can read the summary survey outcomes below.

Late in 2018, local residents petitioned Council to restore the homestead and prevent its further decay. We’re sorry that it came to this and that it has taken until now for us to start the conversation with you.

Council has brought forward plans to prepare a Masterplan for the site. Once complete, the Masterplan will guide the future use and restoration of the Ercildoune Court Reserve in the Alarah Estate.

The City of Casey is committed to restoring the Ercildoune Court Homestead and Reserve, through balancing the use and activation of this space with its heritage protection. While Ercildoune Court Reserve needs to be restored in keeping with heritage and local land use requirements, we are inviting your ideas around how the community could use the facility and surrounding land.

To familiarise yourself with the history of the land, check out the background information.

All feedback received from the community will be considered in preparing the options for the site.

We will come back to you when we have put together the draft Master Plan.

When we met in August 2019, you shared your thoughts with us around how the community could use the Ercildoune Court Reserve and Homestead and surrounding land in the future.

We have taken all ideas on board and are using them to shape the draft Masterplan.

Initially we had hoped to bring the draft design and options back to you in November to hear your ideas. However, it is taking longer than we originally anticipated to shape the draft designs as we want to ensure that we have captured everything that you told us accurately.
