The City of Casey is seeking support State governments for the Duplication of Evans Road from South Gippsland Highway to Duff Street to reduce congestion and improve safety and connectivity for the surrounding network. Key project benefits include:

• Duplication and widening of Evans Road to four lanes (two lanes each way)
• A new bridge over the railway line
• Intersection upgrades at Boland Drive, Breens Road and Duff Street
• Safe walking and cycling network including crossing facilities

The project can be delivered in two stages, with Stage 1 prioritising the duplication of up to 2km of arterial road between Thompsons Road and Central Parkway.
