Project Information

The improvement and refurbishment of playgrounds across Casey will help deliver on Council’s promise to encourage its community to be active and connected, as well as providing families with modern, safe and fun equipment to use.

The City of Casey's Playground Strategy identifies sites within the municipality for the installation of new playgrounds. New district and local level playgrounds are funded by our Capital Works Program and are delivered within the financial year. The works will include a playground renewal program which is compliant with Australian Standards.

In August 2022, we asked the community for feedback on 14 playgrounds across the municipality. We asked the community to tell us what kind of features they would like included at their local playground. Children also had the opportunity to draw and submit their dream playground design. Based on the feedback we received, currently three draft concept plans have been designed for the existing playgrounds at:

  • Avebury Drive Reserve, Berwick
  • Botanic Ridge Boulevard Reserve, Botanic Ridge
  • Parkside Boulevard Reserve, Lysterfield South

Council invites the community to provide feedback on the draft plans. To view the concept design and detailed description of the proposed works, please click on the links below.

You are invited to formally advise us of your opinion by making a submission to the concept plans. In your submission, we encourage you to communicate what you like or would like changed.

Submissions must be made in writing and can be submitted via the below online form, email or in writing and addressed City Design and Construction. Submissions must include a property address and contact phone number.
