Thank you for your feedback

6 July 2021

Over the month of June members of the public were invited to provide feedback on an Open Data Initiative being developed by Council. Over 90% of responders agreed that this initiative of enabling access and to share data would empower the community to make informed decisions. The most popular types of data sets identified were Community (e.g. Facilities & Free Wi-Fi Zones), Smart City Sensors (e.g. Available Parking Space’s & Pedestrian Count data), and Transport (e.g. Bus Stops, Free Parking Zones, & Cycle networks). This feedback will allow Council to target the most popular identified data sets as part of a proof of concept for a Council dedicated Open Data Platform.
