The City of Casey is developing a Public Toilet Framework to guide how we plan, design, and manage public toilets across our community. This framework has been shaped by community feedback so far and now we’re inviting you to have your say on the draft.

During our initial community consultation, you told us that public facilities should be clean, safe, and accessible.

We’ve listened, and we’re committed to making sure our public spaces are:

  • Easy to use
  • Conveniently located
  • Welcoming for all

Issues raised included;

Poor maintenance, limited availability, and lack of supplies, such as soap and paper towel.

The draft Public Toilet Framework was out for public exhibition from 30 October to 30 November for final feedback. Consultation closed Sunday 30 November 2025 (11:59PM).

Next Steps

All feedback received during the public exhibition period of the draft document will be reviewed, and a final document will be presented for consideration by Council at a later date.
