May 2023 - New playground now complete!

City of Casey is pleased to announce the new playground located at Lochaven Reserve, Cranbourne, has been completed. The playground has combined rockwork design, along with a new play unit, rope play unit and swing set to create a dynamic playground. We invite your family to explore the new facility and appreciate your patience.

This new playspace is located on south side of Lochaven Recreation Reserve in Cranbourne West. The proposed new play space will have two main areas with great accessibility. The swing area will consist of a mixture of standard swings, nest swings and an extra tall swing with cubby play. Another area will have a large play structure with net bridges and climbing walls as well as nature play elements to support build a happy healthy connection to nature. The play zones are connected by continuous rock seating edge which will also function as a viewing area for the sports oval.
