The Growing Suburbs Fund (GSF) had reduced in size over recent years until the 2025/26 Victorian Budget stripped all funding from the program. For the past decade, this fund has been used to support the construction and maintenance of local parks, playgrounds, community centres, skate parks, accessible public toilets, and more.

Council is advocating for the return of this important funding stream to help support our rapidly growing community.
