The City of Casey is thrilled to launch our Long-Term Community Vision 2031, Council Plan 2021-25 and 2021/22 Budget.
We would like to thank our community for helping to create these documents through your involvement in the Shape Your City engagement program.
At its Council meeting on Tuesday 29 June, the City of Casey officially endorsed the:

Boasting more than 360,000 residents and still growing, Casey is a diverse community with a range of needs, and as our community grows, so too do the needs and aspirations of our residents.
During the first phase of Shape Your City, which ran throughout September and October last year, our community indicated that green, open space, community safety, roads and public transport were of a top priority for them. This initial phase saw Council engage with more than 6,600 people through a variety of channels, including community forums, phone and online surveys, and hosted conversations.
After compiling the feedback from this first phase of Shape Your City, we launched into Phase 2, which saw the appointment of the Casey Community Panel. This panel represented our broader community and was involved in the third and final phase of this engagement piece, which we called the deliberative process.
Members of the panel helped us to work through the feedback that we received in the earlier components, and consolidate this into five key themes, which have then be used to develop our key strategic documents, including our new draft long-term Community Vision, draft Council Plan, financial plans, and other important strategies.
