Update 30 April

30 April 2020

Hi Advisory Committee,

Hope you're all keeping well and warm in this cold weather!

Our employee engagement for the smart city strategy will kick off on 19 May with an online launch session. We will discuss why smart cities are important, examples from the community and around the world as well as how employees can get involved. Subsequent interactive online workshops will be between 26-28 May so employees can share their thoughts and ideas about how to drive a smart city future for Casey.

We will also be kicking off our engagement with the education sector largely with Casey Tech School, Federation Uni and a few other partner schools. This will happen in early June.

From July 1 we will be organising a range of general public activities including online workshops, roundtables and surveys. We are starting to build our database of local businesses as well as those from state government and other sectors. At the advisory committee meeting on 25 May we will have a 30 minute workshop to get your insights and then spend another 30 minutes brainstorming how we can tap into local networks.

If you have any thoughts or want to bounce some ideas around, please feel free to get in touch.

Thanks,

Laura
