Project Update

The City of Casey have applied for grant funding to help deliver much needed sport and recreation infrastructure for our community.

The 2021-22 Local Sports Infrastructure Fund provides a range of grant opportunities and funding has been sought for the following projects:

  • Ray Bastin Reserve Active Recreation Development
  • Casey Fields Fitness Trail – Stage 2
  • Max Pawsey Reserve Female Friendly Facilities AFL/Cricket Pavilion Upgrade

These projects are nominated in the City of Casey short term capital works program, with the intention of delivering the infrastructure required to provide opportunities for increased active recreation and opportunities for increased participation in community sport.

If the 2021-22 Local Sports Infrastructure Funding is successful, works are expected to commence from December 2022. We are excited to be providing health and wellness opportunities for the community at large, as well as supporting existing sporting clubs.
